Profanity fine leads to planned protest

WARNING: In the spirit of free speech, this post is completely uncensored.

A recent decision by a Massachusetts town to fine foul language has spurred a massive, planned showing of civil disobedience.

Liberty activist Adam Kokesh announced on his online show “ADAM VS THE MAN” that he would be hosting the event Free FUCKING Speech Demonstration in Middleborough, MA. The profanity party is scheduled to take place at the Middleborough Town Hall June 25. The same town hall where residents voted 183-50 to impose a $20 fine on cussing in public, according to the AP .

School uniforms force conformity

School uniforms are one topic that is really wearing on my nerves and liberty-focused mind.

The indoctrination centers known as public schools are rapidly subscribing to the draconian practice of incorporating school uniforms as an enforceable policy.

Why? What happened to the idea of “individuality” that liberals were pushing for a decade ago? Now it’s those same liberals, along with conservatives, supporting the issue of clothing conformity.

The proponents of this preposterous principle claim that uniforms help keep order. They say children learn better when not focused on who’s wearing what; that everyone is equal and no one has anything better than anyone else.

Sykes slaughters sacred cow

Capping a celebration of free speech and its practitioners, the presidential press secretary reinforced the notion that some taboo topics are just off-limits.

Responding to a question about stand-up comic Wanda Sykes’ brutal barbs toward Rush Limbaugh at the White House Correspondents Dinner last week, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said in a press briefing that the Sept. 11 attacks shouldn’t be referenced in jest.

“I think there are a lot of topics that are better left for serious reflection rather than comedy,” Gibbs said. “I think there’s no doubt that 9/11 is part of that.”

Sykes blistered the conservative blowhard Limbaugh for saying that he hopes the Obama administration fails. “I hope his kidneys fail,” she quipped.
