Gun sales go up

Sales aren’t down for all items.

Firearms are starting to see a dramatic increase in purchases, according to the Associated Press. The election of a Democratic president and a congressional majority of Democrats have been said to be the cause of the upswing.

The Washigton Post reported late last month that sales of firearems and ammunition are up 8 to 10 percent this year.

Democrats have long been in favor of restrictions on gun ownership, from a ban on assualt weapons to purcahse and carry permits. The Second Amendment doesn’t mention permits or specify what types of firearms are permitted by the People.

The current seating of the Supreme Court has proven to be somewhat in support of gun rights, but some advocates worry that once Barack Obama takes office, he could add justices who would favor tighter restrictions.

The continually worsening economy may be another factor. The Post reported that people are buying more guns in anticipation of civil unrest for personal protection.

If there were civil unrest, then it is conceivable there could also be martial law. And, in the case of martial law, would the government then try to confiscate the protective firearms of the people, rendering moot the very reason the Second Amendment was added to the Constitution?

There is talk that if the Savior lives beyond his first year, he will make it for four. If want happens, happens, then you can be sure there will be unrest. Just like when R. King was beaten and M.L.King was shot but only worse. No white person will be safe and martial law will be put into effect and all weapons will be taken, one way or another. According to laws signed by King George 1 & 2, all the Savior has to do is declare martial law. Gun sales: you have to have an FBI check, there records are kept and collections will be easy.
